Policies

  • Customer satisfaction is very important to us. We want to ensure that every aspect of your shopping experience with Our Cottage Garden is pleasant.
  • When more than one item is purchased, domestic shipping is free for most items. Please contact us to request international shipping rates.
  • If you purchase multiple items, you may receive more than one package. We generally use Priority Mail, but occasionally First Class, Media or Parcel Post will be used. Larger items will be shipped via the most affordable means, and we will keep you fully apprised of tracking and shipping information.
  • PayPal is our Merchant Account, so online payment will be processed through PayPal.
  • Please note that when you place an item in your shopping cart, it is removed from inventory immediately (so it cannot be selected by another customer). However the item will only remain in your cart for 30 minutes, and then will be re-inventoried. It will be marked as "sold" when payment is made through PayPal. Most of our items are "one of a kind", so prompt payment is recommended.
  • If you are purchasing an item as a gift, we would be happy to wrap your package, create a customized gift card and mail directly to the giftee. A small extra charge may apply. Please ask for details.
  • Refunds are made at the discretion of the boutique owner, and may be subject to a re-stocking charge.
  • Please remember that vintage and antique items are not always perfect. We try to be as accurate as possible in our descriptions, and we are very particular about disclosing any flaws or damage. If you have questions regarding any item being offered, please contact us and we will provide a prompt response.
  • We post new items to the Vintage Treasures Boutique once or twice a week, at 9:00 pm (US EST or EDT).  Items are posted continuously, starting at 9:00 pm, usually in all (6) Vintage Treasures categories. We post a slide show in advance, on the Main Boutique page, showing the items that will be available.  As always, if you see something in the slide show you're interested in, please contact us.  We can email you before an item is posted and/or do our best to post at your convenience. Since November 2008, we have posted new treasures EVERY night (including Sundays and holidays) .. and we decided it was time to take a breath!  We will post a wider assortment of items each time, so we hope this will appeal to our customers.
